Is CHEMISTRY important to The Chemical Engineer students?.

1. Yes. where a chemist chemistry ends that's where a chemical engineer starts.
2. Initially yes, once you get into specialisation then not that much!
3.  only 7 to 8 percent chemistry involve in chemical engineering.
4. Chemistry is not the core of chemical engineering, physics and mathematics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, process control, heat and mass transfer, unit operations and process design is the core of Chemical engineering.
5. We convert raw materials into final products or desirable economic products with the help of a chemist. The Chemist is the one who tells us under which condition a certain reaction will occur. We are the once who need to make sure those conditions are met for the process to be efficient. Yes you have to know chemistry but not that in-dept.
6.Chemical engineering is not only about chemistry
We don't work with glass, beakers  or pipettes we have bigger things to think about
We are not surgeons but specialize in operation  like mass transfer ,heat transfer operation , and mechanical operation and etc..
